This episode is about Frank Bettger, who was a top salesman for 20 years straight in the US. Frank Bettger was born in 1888, was a self-helped author and had a brief baseball carrier with saint louis cardinals before he started to sell life insurances for a national company.
He was not successful, and considered quitting after 10 months. He remembered his coach talking about his lack of enthusiasm, and after a reflection started to act more passionate when presenting life insurances. After reading the biography of Benjamin franklin, he was inspired by his way of asking “key” questions. Frank began perfecting this technique and has wrote several sales books. He was the companies top salesman for 20 years. He made the first “Gentleman’s agreement for sales people”
